Meet The Team!!!
We take pride in our great team of walkers who work together to cover walks. We try to get the same recurring walker for our clients but it is not always guaranteed due to availability and timing. Sometimes it is not possible for a new client to meet ALL their walkers before beginning with us because it is dependent on their schedule and availability. We can assure you that we have a trusted team of employees who work very hard to exceed expectations.

Caitlin, Pet Success Manager & Apprentice Trainer

My first siblings were dogs, all of which were rescues. I developed an early interest in their activities and personalities, and a love of their companionship.

At age 14, I became a trained volunteer at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, helping to place dogs there for adoption. I learned a great deal about differences among breeds and how to handle a dog safely.  Over the four years I was there, I couldn’t resist taking two more dogs from the shelter, including my best friend, a pit bull mix named Gracie whom I was responsible for training.  More recently, I fostered a dog from Texas after the Houston floods. He badly needed training, but with a little work he ingratiated himself and became a “foster failure” when the family decided to keep him.

After graduating from Friends Academy, I enrolled at St. John’s University, majoring in criminal justice.  I hope to become a dog handler in law enforcement or Homeland Security.  Working for Lindsey’s Dog Training and Walking has allowed me to indulge my affinity for dogs while helping to prepare me for my dream career.

Mara, Pet Success Manager

For as long as I can remember I have loved dogs. I had a Weimaraner and a Bichon Frise growing up. After I graduated college and moved into the city I got a black pug who I had for 16 years. I had my daughter, Siena, and moved out of the city to Port Washington- I love this town and am so grateful to live and work here. I now have two incredible rescue dogs- Darlin (Whippet mix) and Shelby (Yorkie). I absolutely love being a Mom and so grateful that working for Lindsey allows me to be with your precious pups all day and my daughter and my dogs when the sun goes down!

Hi! My name is Sam and I'm from Levittown, New York.  I have always loved animals growing up, especially dogs.  I also love being active, I've played soccer and lacrosse all the way up through college and knew this was the perfect job for me.  I have a cockapoo named Dixie at home and she is the princess of the family. Overall, I just love interacting with all the different dogs and getting to work with these lovable fur balls everyday!

Kayla, Pet Success Manager

Hi my names Kayla!  I have loved dogs my entire life, and have always wanted to work with them.  When I graduated preschool I said I wanted to be an "animal explorer" whatever that means.  My first job was as a dog walker for a German Shepherd when I was 13.  I've always been told that dogs take a liking to me, even ones that are typically shy.  I have years of experience with dogs of every shape and size, and also with many different temperaments.  I love a challenge and cherish every bond I form with every animal I meet.  Working for Lindsey has been such a great experience and I'm so happy to call myself a part of the team!
