Meet The Team!!!
We take pride in our great team of walkers who work together to cover walks. We try to get the same recurring walker for our clients but it is not always guaranteed due to availability and timing. Sometimes it is not possible for a new client to meet ALL their walkers before beginning with us because it is dependent on their schedule and availability. We can assure you that we have a trusted team of employees who work very hard to exceed expectations.

Amanda, Business Operations Manager -

"Hi my name is Amanda! I've always had a strong connection with dogs and have had several jobs in the past working with animals at a dog grooming salon, a therapeutic riding center, and even the zoo! I also grew up with five dogs. Animals make up a HUGE part of who I am.

I've been working as a dog walker for a number of years and I am now helping manage Lindsey's Dog Training and Walking Services. I absolutely LOVE my job!!"

Caitlin, Dog Walker-

"My first siblings were dogs, all of which were rescues. I developed an early interest in their activities and personalities, and a love of their companionship.

At age 14, I became a trained volunteer at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, helping to place dogs there for adoption. I learned a great deal about differences among breeds and how to handle a dog safely.  Over the four years I was there, I couldn’t resist taking two more dogs from the shelter, including my best friend, a pit bull mix named Gracie whom I was responsible for training.  More recently, I fostered a dog from Texas after the Houston floods. He badly needed training, but with a little work he ingratiated himself and became a “foster failure” when the family decided to keep him.

After graduating from Friends Academy, I enrolled at St. John’s University, majoring in criminal justice.  I hope to become a dog handler in law enforcement or Homeland Security.  Working for Lindsey’s Dog Training and Walking has allowed me to indulge my affinity for dogs while helping to prepare me for my dream career."

Mara, Dog Walker-

"For as long as I can remember I have loved dogs. I had a Weimaraner and a Bichon Frise growing up. After I graduated college and moved into the city I got a black pug who I had for 16 years. I had my daughter, Siena, and moved out of the city to Port Washington- I love this town and am so grateful to live and work here. I now have two incredible rescue dogs- Darlin (Whippet mix) and Shelby (Yorkie). I absolutely love being a Mom and so grateful that working for Lindsey allows me to be with your precious pups all day and my daughter and my dogs when the sun goes down! "

Nina, Dog Walker-

"My name is Nina, and I am 17 years old! I love photography, calligraphy, art, and softball.  I enjoy getting to work with dogs, they are sweet and loving companions. Though I've never been allowed to have a dog at home, I've always been around them through family and friends."

Johanna, Dog Walker-

"Hi! My name is Johanna and I'm from Little Neck, New York. Every since I can remember, I have always loved animals. I grew up with all kinds of animals, like cats, dogs, reptiles and siblings! I find it very enriching to get to know a dog and develop a trusting companionship with them. Working with dogs is so rewarding to me that it doesn't feel like work at all!"
