About Our Team

We take pride in our great team of walkers who work together to cover walks. We try to get the same recurring walker for our clients but it is not always guaranteed due to availability and timing. Sometimes it is not possible for a new client to meet ALL their walkers before beginning with us because it is dependent on their schedule and availability. We can assure you that we have a trusted team of employees who work very hard to exceed expectations.

Meet the Team

Pet Success Manager

& Apprentice Trainer

My first siblings were dogs, all of which were rescues. I developed an early interest in their activities and personalities, and a love of their companionship.

At age 14, I became a trained volunteer at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, helping to place dogs there for adoption. I learned a great deal about differences among breeds and how to handle a dog safely.  Over the four years I was there, I couldn’t resist taking two more dogs from the shelter, including my best friend, a pit bull mix named Gracie whom I was responsible for training.  More recently, I fostered a dog from Texas after the Houston floods. He badly needed training, but with a little work he ingratiated himself and became a “foster failure” when the family decided to keep him.

After graduating from Friends Academy, I enrolled at St. John’s University, majoring in criminal justice.  I hope to become a dog handler in law enforcement or Homeland Security.  Working for Lindsey’s Dog Training and Walking has allowed me to indulge my affinity for dogs while helping to prepare me for my dream career.

Pet Success Manager & Groomer

For as long as I can remember I have loved dogs. I had a Weimaraner and a Bichon Frise growing up. After I graduated college and moved into the city I got a black pug who I had for 16 years. I had my daughter, Siena, and moved out of the city to Port Washington- I love this town and am so grateful to live and work here. I now have two incredible rescue dogs- Darlin (Whippet mix) and Shelby (Yorkie). I absolutely love being a Mom and so grateful that working for Lindsey allows me to be with your precious pups all day and my daughter and my dogs when the sun goes down!

My name is Erika and I’m a lover of all animals! My mom was an animal control officer for over 20 years, which inevitably led to my love for pets - especially dogs! They teach me to be patient and understanding. It’s truly rewarding to learn something from these animals. But mostly importantly, compassion and love! I currently have a long haired dachshund/chihuahua mix of my own and I couldn’t be happier to be a fur mommy!

Pet Success Manager

Hi! My name is Genna, I’m 21 and from Floral Park NY. I love hiking, listening to music, photography and traveling. I grew up with dogs and when I got older volunteered at a couple of shelters. I love working with dogs because to me it’s never felt like work. Every dog is so unique and its a rewarding process to befriend them and eventually earn their trust and love. I’m very lucky to get to work for Lindsey and with pups!

& Bather

Hello everyone, my name is Shanne'e! I have years of experience around pets, as I have had a miniature Doberman Pinscher (Tasha) and a Yorkshire Terrier (Bella) growing up, I helped raise a blue nose pitbull (Angel) and walked her for years, and I've also worked in a pet store. I now have a 5 year old cat named Jack Calico Sparrow and he is my world! In my years I have been responsible for a lot of neighbors and friends pets when they've gone out of town. I care for any and all animals, and working with them has brought such joy to my life! I will treat your 'fur baby' as it were my own with unconditional love and exercise. I can't wait to meet your cherished family!

Hey there! I’m Lindsey, a lifelong dog owner, and animal lover. I’m incredibly passionate about the power of connection - with humans and animals alike. Dogs of all breeds are such a gift, and wherever I go I’m always drawn to their warm embrace. When I’m not surrounded by pups, you can catch me in the yoga studio, going on nature hikes, and reading and writing stories. Spending my days in the loving company of your furry family members is simply a dream. I can’t wait to meet and care for your four-legged friends!

“Everything I know I learned from dogs.” – Nora Roberts.

In my 30 years of being a dog owner the most I've ever learned about compassion, friendship, patience, unconditional love, and living in the moment has come from my seven Rottweilers. I have always had a special place in my heart for the "aggressive" breeds; I love getting to work with them and forming a bond with them, but most importantly I love educating people about the breeds and watch their "fear" turn to understanding. My specialties are basic training, dog walking, and sleepovers!!!

Pet Success Manager

Hi! My name is Talia, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Massapequa, NY. I’ve had all different kinds of dogs my whole life from a Shih Tzu to a Newfoundland. I currently have three beautiful dogs. I’ve known from a young age I wanted to work with animals. I’ve dedicated these last couple of years to them between walking, boarding facilities, and grooming. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. It’s more than just seeing their cute faces and wagging tails, making a genuine, individual connection with these beautiful animals has always been my favorite thing. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and treat them like my own!
